CHAIRITY by two
PAST CREATIONS FROM CHAIRITY 2017 (all design teams were given the same chair to start with)
For the past six years, two has hosted an event called Chairity, created to bring the design community together to up-cycle furniture (typically chairs) to help raise money for local non-profits.
This year, they changed up the format a bit. They aren't taking the "chair" out of "Chairity," but they are making it more open-ended. Knowing that it will be a challenge to be in person, they’re taking a new approach. Keeping the tradition of bringing together the design community, they decided to officially expand it to include our manufacturer partners. In past years, design teams have often collaborated with local makers to create their chairs. For Chairity 2020, they are celebrating this collaboration and supporting the maker community by pairing 30 design teams with 30 manufacturers to develop an auction piece together.
Though the format is different, the mission remains the same: coming together to give back to our local community through creativity and design thinking.

Our amazing team has chosen Project Color Corps to focus our raised funds on because we believe color has the power to transform communities.
