Laura Guido-Clark is a visionary color advocate and educator, an innovative CMF (Color, Material, Finish) and textile designer, and the founder of LG-C Design, LOVE GOOD COLOR®, and Project Color Corps. For more than three decades, she has dedicated her career to reframing color from mere surface decoration into a powerful catalyst for human connection.
As a design consultant, Laura has advised major global brands—including Adobe, Herman Miller, Samsung, and Toyota—on leveraging color humanistically to build deeper resonance with their audiences. Her textile and pattern design includes work for HBF, Pallas, Carnegie, and FLOR. Her expertise ranges from textiles and furniture to consumer products such as automotive, electronics, and major appliances.
Through years of development, drawing from a lifetime of experience and driven by the core belief that color profoundly influences health and well-being, Laura invented LOVE GOOD COLOR®. A patented color methodology, system and language, LOVE GOOD COLOR® empowers designers to move beyond conventional theory to meaningful application – translating human emotion into intentional palettes that drive connection and impact.
Laura expanded her impact in 2011, founding the non-profit initiative, Project Color Corps, bringing "optical optimism" to under-resourced communities by transforming public spaces through paint and pattern. Project Color Corps now has chapters across the country.
As a thought leader in the design community, Laura speaks internationally on the impact of color and the creative process. She has been recognized through numerous honors, including the Eames Institute 2026 Curious 100, Interior Design Magazine’s 2026 HiP Lifetime of Greater Good Award, and the IIDA 2014 Leadership Award of Excellence.
